Posted February 7, 201213 yr So I moved about a year ago and my windows 7 disc is in storage somewhere in some unknown box. My brother in law has a computer business so i borrowed an extra windows 7 disc. Using magical jellybean keyfinder, I found the key of my own windows 7. I went to reinstall windows 7 using the disc he gave me, but when I enter the key from MY PURCHASED DISC, it tells me the key doesn't match the SKU number . Is there some way around this? I paid a lot of money for Windows 7 and I've done this same thing with XP and Vista and never had this problem. Now I'm stuck in limbo with no operating system and no way to get my old disc because there was a fire in the building and we cant go in there for a month. Continue reading...
