Posted February 6, 201213 yr Hi All, We have two users who edit the same excel file in office 2010 and both users have write access to the file. Both users are using Win7 Enterprise, Office 2010. Everything is up to date. If person A has the excel file open, and person B tries to open it, person B doesn't get the 'file in use' message But if person B has the excel file open and person A tries to open, person A DOES get the message. does anyone have any insight on why this might be the case?
