Change keyboard layout at Windows 7 initial start (before OOBE)

Hi all,

I 'm creating a custom image that prompts for a computer name when the machine is booted for the first time after the image is applied with imagex. This due to issues with the unattendedjoin in the answer file. Without this script, the computer joins the domain with a random name and not with the computername specified in the OOBE wizard.

I was wondering if it possible to change the keyboard layout (with a vbs) before executing the script that prompts for a computer name. I know that changing the keyboard layout is perfectly possible in WinPE.

wpeutil setKeyBoardLayOut

Can someone help me with this? What files are used in the WinPE phase? Where are these files stored? Do these files contain Wpeutil? (I supposse not...)
