How can I configure Internet Explorer 9 to log into this forum?

I cannot sign in with my live ID to social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums

I am using Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7.

On http://technet.microsoft.com/, If I click "Sign in", I am referred to the login.live.com page to sign in. Login succeeds and I am referred back to http://technet.microsoft.com/de-de/

If I click "Foren" to enter the forum, then these two pages play "ping-pong" referring me back and forth about eight times:

1) http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/de-de/categories/

2) https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&wtrealm=social.technet.microsoft.com&wreply=https%3a%2f%2fsocial.technet.microsoft.com%2fForums%2fde-de%2fcategories%2f%3fstoAI%3d10&wp=MBI_FED_SSL&wlcxt=microsoft%24microsoft%24microsoft

Eventually, the second page gives up telling me that the site (i.e. technet) has a problem.

So I cannot read the forum unless I sign out before or unless I use IE 8 (as I am doing now from another PC).

The same happens if I am already logged in with my live ID and google something that refers me to a forum article.

Note that I have no problems at all to access other sites that use the live ID.

I disable ActiveX filtering and Tracking Protection and I added https://*.microsoft.com and https://*.live.com to my list of trusted sites.
