Posted January 30, 201213 yr I have been getting disappointing results since I upgraded to IE9. I regularly experiece "waiting for ..." delays When surfing, and they regularly last for a minute or more -- sometimes interminable, necessitating a stop. I tried going back to IE8, and these delays seemed to go away. But when I upgraded to IE9 again, they returned. This can't be due to the computer or the internet provider ... I have Google Chrome and Firefox on the same computer, and they don't exhibit the same behavior. This problem is definitely specific to IE9. Can anybody suggest something to check that might explain this phenomenon or a setting to change that might fix it? I've already tried the Microsoft Fix-It tool for improving Web performance, and thaat didn't do anything. Continue reading...
