Posted January 30, 201213 yr Just installed Outlook 2010 on home PC (Windows 7). Attempted to set up two email accounts. Gmail then Yahoo. yahoo account would not find settings, then I remembered Yahoo does not work with Outlook, so I removed the yahoo account. The yahoo account will not go away from the navigation pane, and is listed as the default account. I never assigned it to be the default account (at least not intentionally). Even though it does not exist in the accounts set-up, it still exists in the navigation pane as the default account. When I select the Gmail account it will not let me change it to be the default account. So I'm stuck with a non-existent account as my default.
