When I originally installed windows 7, I installed the x32 version on my x64 system. To improve the speed of my computer I reinstalled windows with the x64 version. Windows installed successfully.

I started installing programs and one of them required me to restart. After restarting, the windows logo showed up then my computer restarted. Upon restart, same thing happened.

I reinstalled windows again and made my own restore points before each installation of a program (one at a time) and after each successful installation, restarted my computer.

I finally found the culprit. After installing Microsoft Office 2010 Pro x64, my computer experienced the same symptoms as before.

I want to use the most of my proccessor. I can try installing the x32 version. Are there any solutions to why it would cause this problem?
