Posted January 29, 201213 yr I tried to turn off Norton Anti-virus automatic anything, so that I would have some control however, it still runs updates and scans, etc., in the background, and it seems like when browsing with Windows on IE8 is real slow, I hear the computer working when it is otherwise quiet. Does Norton clash with Windows Security function, and if so, is there anything I can do about it? If the answer is uninstalling Norton, am I OK with just Windows Security?
