Windows 7 Professional only recognizes 16GB of RAM when physical is 24GB

Hey there,

Recently upgraded to Windows 7 Pro via the anytime upgrade, so I could take advantage of more ram on some video/photo editing.

After the upgrade Windows still only recognizes 16GB (although bios and CPU-Z recognize 24576 MBytes)

Some system info: AS Rock X58Extreme, i7 920, Patriot PV324G1600ELHK

OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Professional

Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601

System Type x64-based PC

Processor Intel® Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz, 2668 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
