Posted January 27, 201213 yr When I add the %TEMP%, or even the fully qualified path to the TEMP folder to a trusted location in Group Policy, the office apps SHOW they are added in the trust center, but they are greyed out and don't appear to work. We have an UGLY app we're doing some testing on it's compatibility with Office 2010, and want, strictly for testing purposes, having the temp folder trusted. Office just seems to have it baked right in, that %TEMP% is NOT SAFE, and simply won't use it, even when it IS trusted. Thoughts? Is this possibly in any way? Thanks. Continue reading...
