Problems with Internet Explorer 9

I purchased on January 24, 2012 an Acer Laptop model 5749-6427. The computer came with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium and Internet Explorer 9.

I experienced the following problems with Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421

1) Hyperlinks to web pages didn't work in my Microsoft Access 2010 appplication. Instead I got the message "An unexpected error has occurred"'

2) Financial Statements in my Investment broker site didn't open when I clicked on the statement link.

3) Printing of map didn't work in Google map program on the Internet (http://maps.google.ca/). Instead I got a blank screen.

I tried for several days to change the Internet Security settings and the advanced settings in Internet Explorer Options. None of the setting changes solved the above problems.

I then downloaded the Mozilla Firefox Browser and made it the default browser. This solved the above problems.

It does appears that the Internet Explorer included with my Acer Computer was the reasons for the above problems.

Can the above problems be fixed in Internet Explorer 9?
