Posted January 26, 201213 yr My Windows defender offline states "Virus and spyware definitions are out of date", they are V1.0.0 and some years old. I tried creating Defender on CDs, USB-Sticks and ISO-Files on two seperate Win7-64bit computers (PC, Notebook). During the creation phase about 220 MBytes have been downloaded in each case. However, the result after booting from the created media is "outdated". Time on both computers is set correctly. The MSE definition files are up to date on both computers.
