Posted January 26, 201213 yr when specifying a known-safe file that MSE dislikes but I want MSE to ignore, do I always have to specify a full path to the file? (which I can do with the 'browse' button) ? if the same file with the same name appears in several different disks and/or directories. this is painful. Based on conventions commonly used by other windows programs (including other anti-virus) I would expect that just specifying the file name without a path would exclude every file by that name, regardless of location, but that doesn't seem to be the case. is there some syntax for specifying e.g. "where ever you find a file by this name" Continue reading...
