Posted January 26, 201213 yr Uninstalled MSE version 2.1.1116.0 It was running O.K. for awhile then I started to get the "Windows Genuine Validation" message in the MSE GUI. I validated windows and it was accepted then the next day the same thing happened all over again. Finally after about 3 days of this nonsense I unstalled MSE. I want to keep MSE but I need to solve this problem first. My system is XP Pro SP3. Would appreciate help with this problem. Thanks. As a further note, it seems to do this after a virus update.
