windows 7 restore

i have a lenovo z560 ideapad laptop. i had a problem so i tried restorng it in an 2-3 days earlier position but aftre booting there comes a error message saying

'system restore did not complete sucessfully. your computers system files and setting are not changed

details:

system restore failed to extraxt orignal copy of directory from the restore point.

source: %system restore%\registration

destination: ComPlusStaging'

i tried runing system restore from safe mode but still the same issue.plz help
