Specify in image which driver to use when a certain printer is plugged in?

I've got an image made, Win 7 Enterprise 32bit, which we're running on vmware esx and using citrix xendesktop. When the user logs off their session, the vm restarts and boots back up to the original state.

The problem I'm having is that a user plugs in a usb lexmark t642 printer and windows automatically picks which driver to use for it. There are two drivers, a lexmark universal driver and a lexmark t640 series (ms) driver. Windows picks the universal automatically, which for this printer has some quirks that the user is not happy about. When I manually change the driver in use to the t640 series (ms), the user is happy. But of course that change only lasts for their session. Once the log off/log on, they are back to the universal driver.

So my question is how can I get windows to use the driver which I previously specify in the image? Is there some place I can map a hardware ID to a printer driver, so when the user logs on the printer driver which I previously specify is installed?
