Hi,

I'm running Windows XP Pro sp3 and SE. I prefer to use the computer as a standard user for my general computing needs. I have found, however, that SE's real-time protection interferes with some of my games I like to play but the only way I can find to disable it is when logged in as the administrator.

Any ideas how I can extend the rights to disable real-time protection to my standard user account so I can just disable it before playing and then enable it again once I'm done. It's kind of a pain to switch users often like that.

I tried right-clicking on it in the Start menu and selecting Run As... but it just errors out saying it can't start more than once.

I can open it from system tray and turn off real-time protection but the Save Changes button is grayed out.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

Linn
