I could not get past the security popups alerting me of security threats .

I opened my computer and immediately was innodated with pop ups alerting me to the threat of trojans, malware, and other viruses. They would not go away, and I could not get past the pop ups. I paniced and paid to have all the viruses go away. Now I cannot gain access to my email. I had to create another email just incase. Also it was somehow attached to my Windows ID. My secured password does not work, and my secret question does not work either. I am told it is the wrong answer. Is there any way I can gain access to the internet from my shortcut, and my email again?
