flickering screen when using powerpoint 2010

Goodday

I am having an issue with using powerpoint on ncomputing terminals.

This terminal connects to a windows XP SP3 computer running the VSpace software and start to flicker and go to black when running powerpoint 2010. Now i have been searching within the Ncomputing forum and cam up with the link posted beneath.

I have tried the mentioned hotfix but i cannot install it because it is created for WS2003 and not for XP. Is there a new hotfix esspecially for Win XP so my users can use powerpoint again, or can it be created because now they cannot work with it
