I have a Windows Server 2008 Standard with 5 CALS and only 1 user will access the server. That user will use RDP from his laptop to access the server and will run all of his applications via the RDP client. Do I have to purchase a Terminal Server License for only 1 user or is there 1 license built in. If there is 1 built in license does it have all the functionality that a seperate license would.

5 CALS are for 5 users, doesn't matter if you login locally or via TS (RDP).
