Posted January 17, 201213 yr ...or when I do, the new comp doesn't recognize the .bkf file. Hi, folks. I've seen this issue before on forums but couldn't find a succesful resolution to it. To make a long story short, I moved everything to an external drive before upgrading from XP to 7, and now that I have upgraded, I can't seem to get the information back. I tried using the easy transfer application - and can't even see the .bkf file on the external drive through easy transfer, so I don't have the option there. The file doesn't even show, although it's obviously there. Then I clicked into the external drive from my computer and dragged it to the new desktop. The big .bkf file moved but I can't open it. It looked like my old info moved too, as all the folders are there... but they're all empty. Would sincerely appreciate any help you might be able to give... thanks in advance! Continue reading...
