I have been receiving phone calls from persons saying they are IT and they are detecting...

Several times over the last few weeks we have received phone calls from parties stating they are either IT (with inaudible company name) or from Microsoft..stating that they are receiving reports from our computer that a virus, spyware, malware or phishing has been detected and is infecting our system.

 

I called back the phone # that called today 999-910-0119 and really could not make any connection. Yesterday received a call from 425-998-1533 with the same dialog as above. When I called the phone # back I got a recording stating to go to "guardonline.gov" To secure our computer and check on phishing problem.

 

We are not computer sauvy and really have no idea of what to do or know if we are protected or infected.

 

Can someone please help us.
