IE opens two tabs

When I open an IE window, it opens two windows. THe first is to my home page (Yahoo), and the second is always to The Motley Fool discussion boards. It makes all discussion boards show no unread boards.

I reloaded IE-8 and the same situation is still there.

Doesn't happen with FireFox
