Until recently I used the Windows Mobile Device Center 6.0 in my Windows Vista to connect my phone via USB to the computer and have may contacts and outlook appointments automatically updated. As I make changes to my Outlook the phone would be automatically update. I’ve been using this for around tow years without any significant problems. A few days ago I got the following error message ActiveSync Error 0x8503001c I’ve look in Microsoft KB and in the Internet for a way to resolve this and did not found any way to resolve this. I’ve tried to reinitialise de device remove the contact from outlook and pass only a small number of them at a time remove and reinstall the Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 but none of those things solved the problem. The only way to get my mobile phone to synchronize with outlook was to downgrade to version 6.1. But passing from version 6.1 to 6.0 brings a very big problem. Version 6.0 does not handle HTML. All the notes attached to the contacts and appointments are not passed to the phone. The same happens with e-mail. Does anyone know a way to correct this situation?
