Guest Wonderwoman in Florida Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 A rootkit virus disabled my windows firewall. I have installed MS Security Essentials and run the security check from MS and now my computer looks like it is clean. Problem is I don't have a firewall anymore. I have tried the 3 ways to turn it on that MS suggests, but it looks like the firewall is missing in action. Any ideas? Continue reading... Quote
