Does anyone know how to fix this issue? During a complete fresh windows 7 home 32 bit installation on a brand new hard drive, the installation makes it to the last phase (completing installation). Then all of the sudden, the screen goes black with the cursor at the upper left and hangs there indefinately.

I've tried to reboot and repair installation, no luck.

System will not boot in safe mode because installation didn't finish.

System will not boot in low-res mode because installation didn't finish.

I have the latest bios update (EVGA 790i sli FTW bios rev SZ17).

Hardware:

EVGA 790i sli FTW

EVGA GeForce GTX 260

Core 2 Quad Q9650 @ 3.0 Ghz

2 GB Corsair Dominator 1600 Mhz
