Restore VHD of Windows 7 as the physical boot OS of the system?

Hi,

I am running a Hyper-V Server (Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 with the Hyper-V role). I have a VHD which isa Windows 7 machine.

Is it possible to restore this as the physical boot OS of the machine (so it's the same hardware, so HAL isn't an issue). Essentially, a V2P.
