IR hardware not detected

I have MCE running on a VAIO AR31M. The remote control works through a

built in IR reciever. When I attempt to setup TV signal from Sky box I

get error message that blocks further progress. Can MCE be configured

to recognise the internal reciever, or do I have to get a seperate USB

device.
