I cannot get Media player to share with a Sony BDP-S580.

Connected via wireless on Bell service. Can see Blu Ray Player as UPnP device in Network places, but cannot get WMP sharing to turn on. I have updated all software to current levels and done all the recommended checking for network settings, but am getting nowhere. Please help.
