We have some Canon printer drivers. Canon iR-ADV C5030/5035 UFR II

We can add the printers using IE 8 ok from our print server page. We have 2008 R2 64bit server.

When adding from IE 9. The user authenticates fine, then it downloads the driver. It says installing briefly then shows an error Printer Installation failed. Not Empty.

I can add the driver manually fine and don't get any prompts for Driver signing. After I install it manually, it works from the printer server page. This happens on all the Canon UFR drivers.

I was thinking it could either be the server, canon driver, or, IE9. It works on IE 8 with the same server and canon driver. So possibly it is with IE9 or the canon driver. But since I can add the canon driver manually using the printer wizard. I think the problem is with IE9. I'd appreciate any help tracking this issue down.
