Loading a second hard drive for my laptop with a different operating system on it

I have a Dell Latitude E6410 ATG loaded with Win 7. My career requires software for PLC programming using Rockwell Automation SW. I have platforms of Rockwell that use Win 7, and legacy platforms of Rockwell that require XP Service Pack 3 for older automation systems. I bought a second identical hard drive to swap out when I am with a customer that has automated equipment written for XP, and will be swapping out the drives when this occurs. I do not know what is required to load my XP operating system on the second hard drive. Can anyone provide me with a step-by-step procedure to load the XP operating system on the second drive so that it will work on my Dell ATG laptop?
