Guest SBF-Sam Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 I have installed Microsoft Office, Home and Student 2010 on a Windows 7 machine. It installs, I can't get into Microsoft Access and Publisher but I can get into Power Point, Excel and Word. I searched online and saw somewhere that if you uninstalled Outlook it would solve the problem. I don't know if I would have been able to open Outlook, I uninstalled it before I tried. The problem is, I have the product ID, and it registers as valid every time I put it in. I have no problems with that. The thing is, it seems to have installed properly, and it obviously has for some of the programs. The other programs though, when I try to open them it forgets that I have already entered the product key and asks for them again. It then says it has to restart. I restart (I have no choice), and it asks for the product key again, I enter it, and I have to restart again. It could be a never ending cycle if I wanted it to be...which, strangely enough, I don't. I do not have any other Office version installed. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I do have Libre Office on my computer as well as Corel for other office type office products from before getting Microsoft. Continue reading... Quote
