Options to change fonds in email

I cannot swith fonds size or color in the middle of paragraphs while writing emails. It takes me to the beginnig of the writing.

I was told the problem is with the IE9 I tried to fix it or reinstalle it but the program is not listed when I open "uninstall" from Control panel

Please help
