Can't access hotmail email from bing bar

I'm able to successfully log in to hotmail from hotmail.com but can't access it through the bing bar. It tells me incorrect ID and password.

This email account is for a 10 year old child. Trust me, I'm putting in the correct ID and password.

Any suggestions??
