Posted December 31, 201113 yr My hard drive failed and I replaced it with a new one, the Dell laptop didnot have the operating CD/DVDs when I received it. Is it alright to use another copy of XP from my other laptop to load the operating system on to the Dell, and use the original produce code included with the Dell to regester it with MS?
