Frequently when I go to links, all I get is a blank screen. There is no indication that an Add in needs to start.

I have tried to

1) Diable all Add ins

2) Ran Internet Explorer Add on Fix it

3) Ran Internet Explorer Reset Explorer Settings to original

I have Windows 7 Home, Internet Explorer 9. Computer is a Dell XPS 8300 with 64 bit (to of the line for Dell). It is 3 weeks old.

The first time I noticed it was about a week ago. So it is possible that it was actually working out of the box, but I did not do much with the internet at that time, since I was installing programs and transferring data.

The blank screens happen so frequently that it is impossible to use the internet for any search.

It is possible that it is looking for an add-in, but I don't get the message
