Guest Herazio Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Dear all We have a fairly big problem concerning the use of Gemalto Classic Client for our secure identification to websites. Our IT department has just moved over to Windows 7 and needed to install the Gemalto Classic Client as to make our authentication to our secure intranet sites work with PKI access. However, Internet Explorer does not seem to play nice with our USB SmartCard token. The drivers are installed correctly and the software as well (Gemalto Classic Client 6.0 SP1) and Internet Explorer can even see our token as far as I'm concerned. The process of logging in is as follows: A) The website is opened and checks for a valid certificate B) Internet Explorer gives a prompt to choose a certificate from the USB token (it's visible) C) You choose the correct certificate D) Enter the PIN for your smartcard token E) Login However, at step D everything fails. We do not seem to get a message showing up that we need to enter our pin. After this, Internet Explorer inevitable gives us an error: Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage. And that's where everything ends. Everything used to work perfectly fine in Windows XP with IE6->8. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? I'm guessing it's just a matter of security settings in Internet Explorer, but I'm really not quite sure. I hope to hear from you Kind Regards Bryan Continue reading... Quote
