All of a sudden, Windows Vista 2012 has turned off all of my current firewall and Windows Defender, states that my system is hacked, infected, and every attempt I make to get information or find my current firewall info is blocked. It won't let me do it. I just managed to get to the Microsoft Security Essentials, and am running a full scan now--funny, the security essentials says that my computer is "Protected" I don't mind having a company send out ads or optional updates. But when I am blocked from even checking whether I have the 32 or the 64 version...when the scare tactics prevent me from accessing basic info on my system--that is unacceptable. Managed to get the Security Essentials full scan running, and Security Essentials shows my computer as "protected" HOW DO I REMOVE ANY AND ALL mentions or versions of WINDOWS VISTA 2012??
