Logging In to Free PC Help Forum Has Changed

msmpeng.exe is taking up 43K of my memory. What can I do to speed things up?

I am running Windows 7. My computer is so slow that it took 2 minutes just to get TO task manager to see the issue. I disabled Defender thinking that would help but no.

 

I have one more license for Norton 360 and am wondering if that would help?
