Network printer problem on one computer

i have a domain with a network printer with a static ip address

one of the computers (running WinXP) is not able to send print jobs now, it worked fine till today

All the rest of the computers are still able to print to this printer

I tried to reinstall the printer - didn't work

I tried to reinstall the driver - didn't work

so i checked to see if the networking is ok and i found out that i'm getting no response when i PING the printer IP address

I tried PING to other computer on the LAN and i did got response, even when i PING to external internet websites

I disabled the firewall and anti-virus and the problem still presents

any suggestions?
