Guest Allder Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 From previous posts and answers, the solution to this problem is to disable the Bluetooth add-in. However, my question is therefore "Why should I have to do that?". When I recently purchased a new laptop, I specifically selected a model that had built-in Bluetooth (a Samsung RV-520) because I want to be able to send files to other devices via Bluetooth, which is not rocket science as I am sure you will agree. As this problem appears to occur on every machine that has built-in Bluetooth functionality, surely the fault lies in a bug in 64 bit Word 2010. This problem seems to have been around for at least 12 months and I find it hard to believe that Microsoft have not identified and corrected it. According to Microsoft update, my Office 2010 is completely up to date as far as current updates are concerned and the laptop was purchased less than one month ago. Sure, it could have been sitting on a shelf for a while but I doubt it. I would be interested in your comments. Continue reading... Quote
