Why am I getting ... local settings\temporary internet files\content.IE5\RNH24LWR\msinstall[1].exe is not a valid WIN32 application when trying to download Microsoft security essentials? Had previously used without problem but last week it wouldn't access updates. I uninstalled then couldn't reinstall. Am on AOL and XP. Have run various malware software and no issues except one found Microsoft\Windows\currentversion\internet\settings\proxyserver (PUM.Bad.Proxy) so have deleted and rebooted. Hasn't fixed problem.

Please keep replies simple, ideally with step by step instructions. Have had a belly full of IT probs this week!
