Posted June 19, 201113 yr Hi, this is my first post on these forums, I purchased windows server 2008 a while ago and have misplaced the CD, luckily i have backed it up by copying it :) (backup freak haha) now my problem is i need to reinstall it but cannot boot from the CD, i have first boot device set to CDROM drive in the BIOS and it doesnt read it and give the option to boot from it? any ideas on how i could burn a boot image to make it bootable? Thanks in advance!
June 19, 201113 yr FPCH Admin Create a bootable usb thumb drive. You can use this tutorial I wrote to do that. http://eightforum.com/topic/85-installing-windows-7-from-usb-stick/ Set the bois to boot from the usb drive and the install should start. Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
