Posted December 21, 201113 yr I have previoulsy built Windows 7 Pro images for 2 system & successfully captured & deployed the images using imagex. I sysprep the system & include an unattend file, before booting from a USB key to capture the image. I then boot off the same USB key to deply the image to a new hard drive & then reboot to start Windows loading. I am now working on a 3rd system, but I have a problem with this build, because following my final reboot, I receive an error. Everything looks OK & I have a message to say that 'Setup is preparing your computer for first use', but I then receive an msoobe.exe error saying 'The program can't start because COMCTL32.dll is missing....' I've not done anything different on this system, to what I did on the other 2, but the drivers are different & there is a USB -> COM driver installed. Could this be causing the error??
