Hello I have this laptop that I use for just two programs that I cannot run on my Apple. Last week it gave me an error message that I did not know how to recover from so I wiped the entire thing and re-installed Windows from scratch. I only use it a few times a week and everytime it needs a million updates that I always install. Today it ran fine a few hours ago but then it crashed and gave me a "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt. C:\windows\system32\config\system." error message.

Whats up with this? The computer was wiped, has basically nothing on it and I have to start over again??? I'm no computer expert but it must have something to do the automatic updates.

Any ideas or do I have to re-install again?

Is this a common new bug?

Andrew
