Posted December 20, 201113 yr I reformatted my Windows 7 Ultimate dirve today and reinstsalled my Ultimate upgraded from scratch. It had been Validated, Activated and running for about 6 to 8 months. When I entered the Product Key this time I received the following message: "The product key is not valid. Please retyp the product key." Of course I have retype the key many times with the same results. I also compared it to a printed copy of Belarc Advisor that I made just before reformatting. The key code on the Windows 7 packaging, the Belarc Advisor printout, and what I am typing all agree. Anyone have any ideas or advice? Continue reading...
