Hi,

I have a XP machine a LAN interface having single IP address: 192.168.1.100 and Gateway: 192.168.1.1.

The 192.168.1.1 is a router which forwards the packet to a destination(Router-C) through cloud-A.

If the link to the Cloud A is down it will forward the packet to 192.168.1.3 (Router-B) And the Router-B will forward the packet to destination.

At that time the PC adds a routing entry in local database for the particular destination the gateway is 192.168.1.3.

If the link comes up in router-A, the destination can be reached through Router-A only. But the pc is not forwarding packet to 192.168.1.1 because of the dynamic routing entry.

How to clear the route cache in the XP machine.
