Typical Windows XP PRO installation

I purchased a Dell Inspiron 8600 notebook from a retail store that included a Windows XP PRO (not home edition) many moons ago. I no longer have the Product ID Key jacket that the original Windows disk came with. I was able to open the disk in a friend's laptop, and under the folder named: "i386", I opened the file UNATTEND.txt, I found that "MY" purchased original Windows disk has a Product Key of (CD6RM-J678V-2Y2FV-KRYJ4-PBWKW).

FYI - Although I know minor html and programming, I am computer savvy with fixing computers however, I am very disappointed to have returned to the U.S. State to find that I cannot re install Windows like I am an amateur. I have also read that my operating system cannot handle the new application of Windows 7 and although Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard, he himself would be very disturbed to learn that the expeditious nature of technology has far begun to erase the yester-year people of whom use a computer for simple tasks.

?Does this mean that my Product Key had an expiration date and no told me?

Please send me a Licensed Product Key ID 25-character key so that I can pay my bills on-time.

Thank you!
