Posted December 20, 201113 yr We have an issue with a particular computer that is requiring an administrative sign in (through the Windows prompt) every time the Found New Hardware Wizard detects a new USB flash drive. Any ideas on why this might be happening? I modified the usbstor.inf and usbstor.pnf in the System Root\INF folder and allowed the Everyone group Full Control and also made sure there were no explicit denies anywhere. Continue reading...
