Posted December 20, 201113 yr I tried installing Microsoft Security Essentials, It was unable to move beyond a point in the installation process so I exited out and then uninstalled the program. Tried again (making sure my current security software was turned off) and again it did not complete. This time I do not see it available on the list to uninstall but it is listed under my programs. I also receive the error message when I try to start my computer and open MSE of 'I need to reinstall Microsoft Security Client. Error Code: 0x8007064e. I'm not sure what Microsoft Security Client is so Please advise what I need to do next. Am I to the point of removing and walking away from this product all together? Thanks Continue reading...
